Vibrant yellow and straw in colour, this wine offers a complex array of aromas including lemon crème, nectarine, vanilla and some notes of herbal tea and acacia flowers.
One the palate, the flavours are framed in a smooth creamy mouthfeel that is rich and generously textured. Additional flavours of yeast, honey and lanolin can be found along with notes of toasty oak. A firm core of vibrant acidity holds everything together.
This interesting wine will pair well with rich seafood dishes such as halibut, crab bisque, risotto, and most west coast cuisine. Its elegance will compliment, rather than dominate foods with subtle flavours, and it also offers a nice alternative for the ABC crowd.
