Meritage

Dense and deep black cherry colour, the nose is powerful with notes of ripe black cherry, blackberry, pepper and cedar. The mouth is full & round with a full volume of tannins present. The wine presents a fleshy balance and a good length. This wine still shows signs of youth and a carafe does it good by opening up the aromas and the mouth. It can easily age for a few more years. This wine can be paired with strong-tasting dishes such as lamb or duck.
